We always rent the whole estate – the main house, the garden house with its fireplace, the courtyard, garden and barn. Each space has its own character; what unites them is calm, natural materials and respect for the original house.
The house
A quietly magical place in South Bohemia
The farmhouse with the blue gable has stood in Jamný near Písek since 1863 and is a listed cultural monument. Yet inside there is no museum – just a house that is good to live in.
The restoration kept the character of the house and let its authentic qualities shine: lime plaster, traditional box windows, oak floors, porcelain switches and ironwork by an artisan blacksmith.
Traditional techniques and honest materials create a setting that does not follow passing trends – with all the comfort you are used to, including smart heating.
