The house
A farmstead with a blue gable, an enclosed courtyard, a garden house with a fireplace and a barn. A house that breathes, smells of wood and keeps you warm.

The restoration gave the house back its historic soul. Lime plaster, box windows, oak floors, reclaimed timber, handmade furniture, railings and fittings by an artisan blacksmith – every detail was chosen with the old ways of building in mind.

Lime, timber, brick and stone. Materials that age beautifully and let the house breathe – paired with porcelain switches, handmade lights and vintage sanitary ware, and the comfort of a modern home.

Walk across the stone-paved courtyard, water the herbs in the raised beds, sit under the vine-covered pergola and, in the evening, move to the garden house and its crackling fire.

A white metal table by the old stone wall, rustling grasses and the scent of herbs. The morning sun reaches this spot first.

A rattan sofa, soft blankets and the blue-grey pergola covered in vines. Shade by day, string lights by night.

The tiles radiate slowly, dusk falls behind the box windows and the house is quieter than any city. The bench on top of the stove is the most sought-after bed on the estate.
